The world is your oyster and the possibilities unlimited if you give your creative genius full rein. Refine your knitting skills in just three days with professional knitter and garment designer Ann Dooling. Learn double and twined knitting, cable, fair isle, garter and lacing techniques. Knit a sock without a pattern, write a pattern for your own knitted creation, and knit for pure the joy of it!
Students should bring an assortment of knitting needles, especially double pointed needles in size 3, and a straight needles in sizes 4-7. We will visit the knitting shop in town on Saturday morning, and they can purchase any needles or yarn they choose to.
Cost: $200
Includes lunch each day.

Ann Dooling has been knitting for many years, and developed her own commercial knitting company, Montana Knits, in 1992, to design and knit cashmere garments for upscale stores across the country. She enjoys all kinds of intermediate and advanced hand knitting techniques; she says the only way she can stay awake watching TV is to knit!
