Instructors: Robert and Judith Bennett

Multimedia Artists Robert and Judith Bennett have participated in art shows since 1990. In 1993 they became intrigued by gourds which primitive people world-wide have used for countless centuries for ceremonial, aesthetic, ritualistic, rite-of-passage purposes, as well as utilitarian, including musical instruments. It is their intent to blend the earthly and spiritual qualities of the gourd with the art. It is their desire to invoke, through the creative process, originality and intrinsic value to make the art piece timeless. Robert and Judith have won numerous awards and their gourds have traveled around the world.
