About the Helena Institute
Learn and play the Helena way!
The Helena Institute is your opportunity to learn a
new skill, start a new hobby or begin a new adventure. We’ve compiled a
roster of more than 30 courses, offering two-to-five-day classes in
everything from fly fishing to quilting. Most courses take place during our six showcase weekends, but others also happen throughout our April to November season.
The Helena Institute is located in Montana’s beautiful capital city of
Helena. Surrounded by the rugged grandeur of the Rocky Mountains,
Helena is a fantastic place to vacation as well as learn. We have
plenty of attractions for history buffs, outdoor enthusiasts and art
